Sint Maarten is a constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, located in the Caribbean Sea off the coast of North America. With a population of 58,477 as of June 2023 and an area of 34 km² (13 sq mi), the country comprises 44% of the southern part of the divided island of Saint Martin. The capital of Sint Maarten is Philipsburg.
